“Meet The Stylist

Michael Conley aka Tailored Ankles, and I’m a dapper stylist and model. I’m 29 years old and I love a well tailored suit and loafer to match. I take pride in my “thing” that makes my fashion style me. I never was really into suits until my grandfather introduced me to his tailor. I had a small conversation with him and one thing stuck out and that was “Dress for the conversations you want to have” and from that day on I began to wear suits. I like breaking the rules when it comes to wearing a suit, different patterns/ color combinations and not wearing the traditional shoes to compliment. I earned the nickname “Ankles Out” or “Tailored Ankles” from wearing my pants either with a cuff or tailored above the ankle to fully expose the loafer I am wearing. One thing I can say is that I love dressing up for any occasion. “Make fashion fun” is something I can live by! I have been in dapper fashion for 6 years now and I have no regrets. I have since then joined a group of distinguished gentlemen and businessmen called “Gentlemen’s Den”. We are a culture shock to the fashion community of Detroit. We also hold business meetings, events, videos and photoshoots. We are now working on a co-working space for individuals. I have dreams of becoming the stylist for stars like Steve Harvey, T.I. , Jidenna, and many others . I love dapper .... and it has grown to love me.”
